BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Between Property Owner & Holidaymaker
1. This is an agreement between the Property Owner, Graham Stewart and the holidaymaker who has signed the accompanying booking form.
2. The booking form must be completed the holidaymaker and signed by the head of the party who further warrants that he/she is over 18 years of age.
3. Deposits must be sent at the same time as the booking form. The deposit is 25% of the total cost.
4. The balance of payment due must be received a minimum of 8 weeks before departure. If the booking is made within 8 weeks of departure, full payment will be required.
5. Cancellations by you must be given in writing and the date of cancellation is the date we receive the letter. A cancellation fee will be applicable as follows:
Period before date of departure
8 weeks or longer loss of deposit
4 – 8 weeks before 50% of total cost
Within 4 weeks 100% payable
6. Should circumstances beyond our control arise, we have the right to cancel your booking, but we will attempt to find you alternative suitable accommodation of a similar standard or refund your payment in full.
7. At the time of final payment, we also require a £50.00 refundable security deposit via a separate cheque. The deposit will be refunded within 30 days, subject to a satisfactory property inspection for damage, missing items and excess cleaning requirements.
8. No compensation will be made due to changes or cancellations due to war, threat of riots, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions.
9. If the holidaymaker makes use of the community facilities then they should ensure adequate supervision is given to anyone under the age 16 and they not be left unattended whilst in the vicinity of the pool facilities etc.
10. The Property owner will not be liable to the holidaymaker for any loss or damage arising from the holidaymakers’ occupancy of the property.
11. The terms of this agreement are constructed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the parties herby prorogate jurisdiction over any dispute arising wherefrom to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Court.
12. You are strongly advised to ensure you have adequate insurance cover before leaving the UK. Medical expenses in the USA are particularly high.
